A little promo animation based on my cover for Nyctophobia (below). This is my first attempt at this, so its pretty basic!

I’m not a big Porsche fan, but I saw this beauty on Top Gear recently and I was instantly in love! The car is entirely hand-made, using an early-generation Porsche, but it is basically a new car in every respect. The engine, running gear, interior, body-panels… everything is new and custom designed to [re]make what is already a classic. And from what I understand, it is a hoot to drive and nowhere near as sterile as the current Porsche models.
Downside, this level of uniqueness and engineering costs … about $280K in the US!

Quite pleased with the birds in the spine text…

Pye Parr 2013. 32x24” Oil painting on canvas board.
Final art plus a couple of process shots.
I saw this race at Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb a few years ago (and at Prescott too thinking about it) and had to go and take some photos in the pits afterwards. This painting is for sale - get in touch if you’re interested!

Pye Parr 2014.
20x30” Oil Painting on canvas board.
Final piece plus work-in-progress photos. Painted in 4 1-2 hour sessions. I saw this car (and a load more) race at Goodwood Revival last year in a 50th anniversary cup. Absolutely awesome looking/sounding things.
This painting is for sale - if you’re interested send me a message. It’s going to a gallery soon, so I had a decent photo taken before I never see it again!
